Île flottante abeille

I was skeptical about how well these would stay put, but the cork material is genuinely buoyant and stable enough for a bee to land without tipping. I’ve got them floating in my birdbath now and I’ve spotted at least a dozen honeybees using them over the past week.

The honeycomb texture isn’t just decorative—it gives the bees something to grip while they drink, and the cork floats stay put even when the wind picks up. I’ve watched several bees stop by the water bowl all afternoon, and it’s nice knowing they won’t drown anymore.
