Make Your Own Weather House

Assembling the little wooden house took me an afternoon, and now I actually check it before heading out the door. The hygrometer part genuinely works — the cloud slid out yesterday right before it rained. My kid keeps asking to paint the sun a different color.

The Sun and Cloud popping out based on humidity is such a clever little trick—my kids check it every morning before school. Assembly was straightforward and the finished piece looks charming on our shelf.

Took a bit longer than the estimated assembly time, but watching the sun actually pop out during a dry afternoon made it worth the effort. The concept is charming and it works as a basic hygrometer, though I wish the instructions had clearer diagrams.
